How to Warp a Floor Loom (Front to Back)

Wednesday May 4, 2011

Here's how to warp a floor loom from start to finish.

I'll be using the "Crank and Yank" method for warping this loom, which can also be used on a Rigid Heddle Loom.  If I had a warping valet, I would bring the warp under the breast beam, over the valet and then have the warp chains attached to weights. It would then be a simple matter of turning the warp beam which makes beaming your warp super fast. For now, I'll be using the Crank and Yank.

So for what it's worth, I hope you enjoy my latest demonstration! Enjoy!
