First 2 classes went off without a hitch. Everything worked great and we all had a good time.
Third class was a disaster and of course, that was the class with the biggest audience!
I was, evidently, too tired. I won't be doing 3 classes in one day again. No-siree-bob.
For those of you who were there...(where it all went wrong)...it started with me telling you the colors which were threaded wrong. That totally confused me later. Should be the dark color in holes in #2 and light color in holes in #1. I gave the instructions the other way around. After that things got ugly. LOL
Shouldn't matter the color really. If you use the same weft for the top layer (A and 1UP) then you get the top layer. If you use another weft for the bottom layer (B and 2 Down) then you get the bottom layer and they're both separate. I was using pink weft in the first half of the top layer and then the red weft in the second half of the top layer, same for the bottom. I should have been using just pink on the top and red for the bottom. I was so tired I didn't realize that. UGH!!
I'll be doing class again when I'm not so tired. 3 classes in one day back to back was, apparently, more than my little old self could handle. It didn't help that just before class, my cat decided to knock her head into something which freaked me out because one eye was totally dilated and the other was cross-eyed. She was meowing and obviously in pain. She's ok now. She must have hit her head on something when running through the house.
At any rate, I want to give this another shot. When would be a good time for you guys?
