Just a Bit of Personal Stuff

When I first started weaving and blogging over 10 years ago, there was hardly anything on the 'net available for weaving so I decided to do something about it.

I have, at times, posted personal stuff, along with all the free weaving information that I provided and resoures that I have gathered over the past 10 years. I have never expected anything in return. It just makes me feel good to help people which is why I have never charged a fee for membership in order to gain access to any of my information, patterns, tutorials or lessons.

I recently posted a "GoFundMe" to the Facebook Page about needing help with getting my van fixed. This is the first and only time I have ever asked for assistance from the public for anything. This upset a few people. Some folks just can't hit the "scroll past this" button, I guess.

Those of you who shared the post, thank you ever so much. Your support is greately appreciated, more than you'll ever know.

I am under extreme amounts of stress because of my current situation and snarky attitudes don't help. To me, it's kind of like kicking a person who is laying in the gutter bleeding. To avoid additional stress, I removed the post. They won.

I didn't think it would be considered inappropriate for a person, who has been freely helping the weaving community for over 10 years, to post a cry for help on their own blog pages. I guess I was wrong.

I apologize for offending or upsetting anyone. It will never happen again.  As a result of this incident, there will be some changes to my blog and associated Facebook page in the very near future.
