To All The Scarves I Wove Before

To all the scarves I wove before,
Came off my loom and out my door
I'm glad they came along,
I dedicate this song
To all the scarves I wove before.

To all the yarn I once caressed,
And may I say, I've held the best,
Were used for warp and weft
And now there's nothing left
Of all the yarn I had before.

The shelves of yarn are always changing
And ev'ry time I tried to leave,
The shelves of yarn continued changing,
And I must buy so I can weave.

To all the yarn I had in hand,
Count all the leaves and grains of sand.
I'm glad they came along,
I dedicate this song
To all the yarn I had before.

My weaving gave me such delight
I wove by day and dreamed by night
Of colors in my heart;
They'll always be a part
Of all the scarves I wove before.
