Clasped Weft

Clasped weft is a technique often used in tapestry and "Saori" weaving. This is a good video on the subject. Simpy wrap one weft around another and pull it through. Can be done with 2 or any number of colors. You are only limited by your imagination.  If you're not familiar with "Saori" weaving, it's usually done on a 2 shaft loom where the weaver creates free-form (from the heart) designs.

When doing clasped weft weaving, is the design more powerful when the warp in one solid color and two other colors are used in the clasped weft?
