How to Wind a Center Pull Ball

Here's how to make a center pull ball (yarn cake) using only your thumb. If you're not blessed with long thumbs, you can do this with a nostepinne. I use a Sharpie permanent marker as a nostepinne. I use a dowel as a nostepinne. I use the handle of a wooden spoon as a nostepinne...I think you're getting the idea ;)

I like to use an empty pen barrel as a "holder" for the yarn, it goes a lot faster.
